In construction, getting the concrete quantity right is one of the few decisions you cannot easily undo. Order too little and the pour stops while a second truck is dispatched; order too much and you pay for material that ends up as spoil. Concrete Calculator Max exists to take the guesswork out of that number — across every common pour, not just a single slab.
Built by Shakeel Alvi
The site is owned, built, and written by Shakeel Alvi, a full-stack developer. He designs each calculator, writes the accompanying guides, and maintains the shared calculation engine, which is covered by an automated test suite. Shakeel doesn’t review his own engineering assumptions — that’s a separate job, done by an outside credential holder.

Engr. Muhammad Qasim is a Registered Civil Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC Reg. No. 63430, Discipline: Civil). His registration can be independently confirmed at verification.pec.org.pk (search Discipline: Civil, Reg No: 63430). Between 30 June and 14 July 2026 he authored a signed engineer’s note for each of the 43 calculators, checking the calculation assumptions and methodology on every tool before it was marked reviewed.
How the Calculators Are Built and Reviewed
We use a deliberate two-step model: one person builds and writes, a different person with an outside engineering credential checks the assumptions. Review dates are recorded per calculator as the review actually happens — not stamped uniformly on a fixed schedule. Comprehensive Coverage
Unlike a single generic calculator, we provide 43 dedicated tools, each optimized for its own use case: slabs, footings, columns (rectangular and circular), beams, and walls; gravel and aggregate; rebar, rebar spacing and weight, and wire mesh; flowable fill (CLSM); concrete, cinder, and CMU block; bag counts and bags-per-yard; and cost estimators. Every tool supports multiple units and provides detailed material breakdowns.
